You need to create a page in your blog that contains all of your background research Part 1. You need to include research about the following points, and also explain where you found the information (link to the websites that you used).

  • Website stuff
 - Define the following terms: www, blog, internet, website, URL, modem, image, GIF, PDF, embed, applications, gadget, cybersafety, HTML, bitmap image, vector image, flash.
 - Why, when, and who invented the internet?
  • Website Design Principles
Answer the following questions:
- What different types of websites are there e.g. informative.....
- What are the benefits of having a website?
- What are 'documents' online?
- What purpose does a 'web map' serve?
- What are 'links'?
- Discuss why it is important to identify the potential users of a website.
- What are the 8 golden rules of good web design?
- What are the principles of good web design?
- Discuss why it is important to test, evaluate and update your website?

Find the official help website, and one good YouTube video on how to use Sharepoint designer and post the links on your page.
Make sure you can find and open the program on your computer.
